  2. I started ChristWorks Ministries after the Lord burdened my heart with it. In November 1999, I felt the Lord leading me to witness more and help others make a move towards Jesus Christ. For a few months, I was not sure exactly what God wanted me to do. I prayed and asked for guidance and wisdom, and the Lord showed me what He wanted. The Lord wanted me to build an online ministry and here it is, Praise God.

  3. I am of no denomination, and I thank the Lord that I am not. Although I have nothing against any particular denomination, I feel that Jesus said it best when He said, "Follow me." Jesus never created denominations, they are a creation made by man, and quite frankly man tends to mess things up too much so I'd rather stick with how God made it. I think that the denominations are alright, however. I don't care what the sign says over the door of the church, if it preaches God's Word then it is a good place to worship, and if God's Word is not preached there, then it is not a good place to worship. Sadly, many churches fall into the category of not preaching God's Word. One other item of note, is that although I am non-denominational and this ministry is non-denominational, there are people who have assisted me with this ministry who come from a variety of denominations. In other words, regardless of denomination, if we stick to the Word, those who are saved can get along just fine and better help those who aren't!

  4. At this time, I am not attending any church. My reason is quite simple: The Lord has not lead me to a church that teaches His Word in truth, love, and His ways. At no point, does it say in The Bible that a Christian must attend church. It is written, however, that Christians are not to forsake the assembling together to have fellowship (Hebrews 10:25). Jesus said that where ever two or three are gathered in His name, He will be present with them (Matthew 18:20). Also, it is written in Romans 16:17-20 to avoid churches that do not teach the Word of God, even if they claim to be Christian churches. Christians need to understand that just because you go to church doesn't make you saved and it doesn't mean God is in the church you attend. I hope that if this ministry doesn't do anything else, that it will cause some Christians to wake up to the reality of God's Word, and realize that a lot of what is being taught today is nothing but traditions of men that make void the Word of God.
Believe it or not, we are having fellowship right now if you are a Christian. Indeed it is via the Internet, but spiritually we are all worshiping Jesus Christ, if you have taken the road of life which is to say you have accepted Him into your life.
I have been questioned quite a bit as to why I do not attend church at the moment, and though I have explained it the way God's Word does, still many so-called "Christians" reject it. My thought would simply be is that if these so-called "Christians" would stop being only Sunday Christians and making a religion out of a day of the week, maybe God would open up a few doors for them so that they would understand His Word. This may seem kinda harsh to some folks, but I do say these things in love.

  5. I prefer not to give any additional personal information about me on this site other than what has already been given. The main reason for this is that this site is to help bring people to Jesus Christ, it is not meant to be about my life other than my relationship with God. You may visit Eric's Dream Site if you like.

  8. There are two versions of The Bible used on this site. One is The King James Version, and the other is The New International Version. When The Bible is quoted on this site, the reference KJV (King James Version) or NIV (New International Version) will always follow the scripture. I believe that The King James Version of The Bible is the best, however, The New International Version is good for beginner students of God's Word.
