I do not have one of those amazing testimonies about doing drugs and then God changing my life. Mine is simple and plain.

I have grown up in a Christian home with wonderful parents and two brothers and two sisters. I am the baby, so I was the one who was always pushed aside. When I was seven years old, I was at our little country church with this pounding in my heart, and tears rolling down my cheeks. My mom asked what was wrong; I told her that I wanted to be saved and I wanted Jesus to come into my life. I will never forget when she said, "Well, go get your daddy." I went and we went to the altar, and I excepted Jesus into my life. Well, in about the sixth grade I strayed away from God. I started hanging out with the wrong crowd and I did not care any more. So, I started talking the way they talked and I started going places they went. This happened all the way up until the ninth grade.

I started realizing I need to make some changes in my life when my dad came home and told my family that he had cancer. At this point in my life I did not want my Dad to die and I knew that he was torn in two when he found out all the bad things I had done. I then asked God up above for forgiveness for all the things I had done. I turned my life over to Him.

To this day I have never drank, smoked, done drugs, had pre-marital sex, nor anything to this effect. I know that I am not perfect, but I am striving each day to live my life to the fullest for the glory of God. I pray each day that God will let my life shine for some soul that they can see Him through me.

No matter what people ask you to do just stop and think if it would be to glorify God or will it disappoint Him? I pray that if you are not saved that you will except Jesus Christ as your Savior before it is to late.
